Madakaripura, The Enchanting Waterfall

Indonesia has many interesting natural places, such as; beaches, mountain ranges, lakes, caves and waterfalls. This is such a beautiful gift from The Almighty God to the country. This time the article will talk about one of the famous waterfall in Indonesia, Madakaripura Waterfall.

Madakaripura Fall is located in East Java Province. It is said that Madakaripura Fall is the highest fall in Java Island (the height is around 200 meters) and the second in Indonesia, after the wonderful Sigura-gura fall in Sumatra island, near Lake Toba.

The enchanting Madakaripura is on the ring of The National Park Bromo Tengger Semeru, although the way to get there is rocky and muddy (in the rain season) the view is much worthed. The best view is around summer, because the color of the water is amazing. Try to get there before 11 AM to catch the ray of sunshine seeking through the holes of the chamber of caves.
